The Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Yankees have completed the July trade that sent Ivan Nova to the National League.

New York will receive outfielder Tito Polo and left-hander Stephen Tarpley.

Nova has a 2.87 ERA over 31.1 innings since the trade, striking out 22 and walking just one.

The Cleveland Indians have agreed to acquire Coco Crisp from the Oakland Athletics, according to a person familiar with the deal.

Major League Baseball still needs to approve the deal. It would have to become official by Wednesday for Crisp to be eligible for the postseason.

Crisp spent his first four seasons with the Indians.

The Kansas City Royals have acquired Daniel Nava from the Los Angeles Angels for a player to be named later or cash.

The Angels will send Nava to Triple-A Omaha.

At the Major League level this season, Nava hit .235/.309/.303 over 136 plate appearances.

The Blue Jays have added depth at catcher for the stretch run by re-acquiring veteran switch-hitter Dioner Navarro from the White Sox.

The Blue Jays sent minor league left-hander Colton Turner to Chicago in Friday's waiver deal. Navarro is likely to be the backup in Toronto behind Russell Martin.

The Dodgers added a chemistry test to the equation Thursday, trading beloved backup catcher A.J. Ellis to the Phillies in order to improve the team's fortunes against left-handed pitching.

The Dodgers landed right-handed hitting catcher Carlos Ruiz in the transaction, as well as cash considerations, while minor league pitcher Tommy Bergjans and a player to be named later also went to the Phillies along with Ellis.

The Atlanta Braves have traded Jeff Francoeur to the Miami Marlins in a three-team deal with the Texas Rangers.

Atlanta got Minor League infielder Dylan Moore from Texas and Minor League catcher Matt Foley from Miami while also sending cash considerations to the Marlins.

As part of the trade, the Braves will send the Marlins $104,959 to help offset Francoeur's contract. The Rangers obtained two international signing slots from Miami and one from Atlanta.

The Washington Nationals have agreed to acquire Sean Burnett from the Minnesota Twins.

Burnett had been pitching for Minnesota's Triple-A affiliate.

Washington is sending cash considerations to the Twins.

The Seattle Mariners bolstered their bullpen by acquiring right-hander Arquimedes Caminero from Pittsburgh and switch-pitcher Pat Venditte from Toronto in a pair of trades Saturday.

Both deals Seattle made were for players to be named later. Seattle will be sending two players to Pittsburgh for Caminero and one to Toronto for Venditte. The Mariners announced Venditte would report to Triple-A Tacoma, while Caminero will report to Seattle.

Recent trades by the San Diego Padres are drawing scrutiny within the industry about whether the Padres properly shared relevant medical information in trades executed with the Boston Red Sox and Miami Marlins, according to league sources.

The San Francisco Giants will acquire Matt Moore from the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Rays will reportedly receive Matt Duffy, some prospects and cash in the deal.
